Supermarket Style .................pass me the milk(bag) honey!

So A/W collections are here and what an exciting, if not suprising lot of object lusts to decipher between.
So you probably already know (unless you have been living in a cave for some time) that the A/W runways were full of , well full of what you would usually see on your weekend shop (with a cheeky stop in Mcdonalds on the way home)

With Anya Hindmarch and her Counter Culture Show , featuring items such as cereal bags, (my absolute fave being the blue tony the tiger Frosties bag, may I add!
There is just something so cute about it.

Then we saw Chanel with there totally covettable milk carton bag, and that shopping basket .......oh my,need I even explain.
Kate Spade
Then there's the chanel Chinese takeaway carton style bag, which was also seen on the Kate Spade Runways in a very lifelike red and white print.
Food items were not the only offerings though, although there were plenty on the runways from Digestive clutches, and coco pop box clutches it went to Ariel wash powder clutches which were suprisingly chic.
Milk by Marc Jacobs

Now the one that truly got those tongues wagging were Moschino's Collection A La Jeremy Scott.
Never one to let us down "Scott's" Latest offerings for the Iconic brand featured the iconic moschino heart logo sculpted into Mcdonalds style lettering. The show featured models in yellow and red shirt dresses and caps, carrying Mcdonalds style clutches on trays like some "other world stylish Mcdonalds staff" If filling your body with junk was ever gonna be stylish this is it!
Katy Perry (Scotts) Good friend was guest of honour at the show (arriving to a chorus of boo's an hour late), and guests arrived to gifts of Iphone cases sculpted to look like  packets of french fries.
Among the Mcdonalds theme, The Moschino collection also featured dresses , with cheese biscuit packaging complete with nutritional information, or Gummi bear packaging printed on the silky fabric or even Crisp packet's, you name it , if you can eat it you can probably wear it now.

So what do you think , I must say when I started seeing the first piccies of these food related fashion offerings I wasn't convinced, but now , well now I am well and truly hooked.
