A/W coats Haute couture vs High street

Hey so it's that time of year , the winter months are becoming uncomfortably close and you just know it will soon be time to purchase that winter coat.
But where to go???
High end luxury brands with there array of beauties? I mean I am totally in love with the burbs blanket wraps and that Saint Laurent biker jacket is just the stuff dreams are made of.
but the selection of high street coats I've selected are quite cool too, especially when you consider You can buy all of them for around £152 !!! yep you heard that right guys 6 coats @ £152 .....cool huh .
Now compare that too the other lot  @ Just under £17000 !!!! yep seventeen grand !!! just in case you thought I'd typed that wrong.
Bloody big difference eh!
Don't get me wrong the Stella McCartney black fortune coat is divine but at £2,145 you will have to get some serious usage out of it .
The high street offerings are not bad at all take the black Fashion union long biker with faux fur collar just a snip at £30.
And the pastel blue and pink Chicnova coat is only £36.
Just shows you can't beat an investment piece from one of the high end brands , but if you don't have the bank balance to back it up, then the high street has some stylish alternatives xoxo

Supermarket Style .................pass me the milk(bag) honey!

So A/W collections are here and what an exciting, if not suprising lot of object lusts to decipher between.
So you probably already know (unless you have been living in a cave for some time) that the A/W runways were full of , well full of what you would usually see on your weekend shop (with a cheeky stop in Mcdonalds on the way home)

With Anya Hindmarch and her Counter Culture Show , featuring items such as cereal bags, (my absolute fave being the blue tony the tiger Frosties bag, may I add!
There is just something so cute about it.

Then we saw Chanel with there totally covettable milk carton bag, and that shopping basket .......oh my,need I even explain.
Kate Spade
Then there's the chanel Chinese takeaway carton style bag, which was also seen on the Kate Spade Runways in a very lifelike red and white print.
Food items were not the only offerings though, although there were plenty on the runways from Digestive clutches, and coco pop box clutches it went to Ariel wash powder clutches which were suprisingly chic.
Milk by Marc Jacobs

Now the one that truly got those tongues wagging were Moschino's Collection A La Jeremy Scott.
Never one to let us down "Scott's" Latest offerings for the Iconic brand featured the iconic moschino heart logo sculpted into Mcdonalds style lettering. The show featured models in yellow and red shirt dresses and caps, carrying Mcdonalds style clutches on trays like some "other world stylish Mcdonalds staff" If filling your body with junk was ever gonna be stylish this is it!
Katy Perry (Scotts) Good friend was guest of honour at the show (arriving to a chorus of boo's an hour late), and guests arrived to gifts of Iphone cases sculpted to look like  packets of french fries.
Among the Mcdonalds theme, The Moschino collection also featured dresses , with cheese biscuit packaging complete with nutritional information, or Gummi bear packaging printed on the silky fabric or even Crisp packet's, you name it , if you can eat it you can probably wear it now.

So what do you think , I must say when I started seeing the first piccies of these food related fashion offerings I wasn't convinced, but now , well now I am well and truly hooked.

Quick change for evening drinks

So after the pics were taken for the ootd post I had a last minute invite for a few drinks with my bestie, not having any time really I decided to rework my outfit a little.
I kept my CELINE t.shirt on and teamed it with some denim look leggings and a chiffon cropped kimono style cape.
I finished the look with some frilly ankle socks and silver glitter heeled jelly shoes (my absolute fave btw), I love the girly sock trend anyway especially teamed with jellies, it's like being 7 all over again ha ha.
Let me no what you think in the comments and dnt forget to follow me and check out my Instagram anghoneylove xxx

OOTD styled by my 7 yr old fashionista

Well the sun is shining , the weather is fine ................. Yeah. Seriously though , you feel so much happier when the suns out, I'm sure I suffer with slight sad (seasonal affective disorder) cos I'm such a nicer person when the sun shines.
So anyhow today my daughter Alisha begged me to allow her to take control of this ootd post, , she's 7 and totally loves fashion but it has to be her way (no frills, no dresses etc etc) she defo has her own mind when it comes too what to wear.

So she teamed my black and white stretch pencil skirt , with my trusty CELINE  t.shirt and a black cardigan, quite like the finished look actually ,mini stylist on the loose me thinks.
Alisha styled herself in matching CELINE t.shirt ,tucked into faded denim shorts and a pink belt ( as the shorts are actually a tad big for her)

So yeah quite impressed with her styling skills ,I  may just let her loose again and see what the results end  up like.

Post nĂºmero uno

Ahoy there, time for introductions I suppose................ Here goes!Angelica Honeylove is my name  and fashion is definatly my game........ Lol okay that's enough of the naff poetics, I'll stick to fashion from here on.
So a bit about me, I love milkshake , green tea and sweet potato falafel, I have a boxer/staffy pup called bouncer (so cute, and incredibly bouncy), oh yeah and I love fashion. So much so that I am currently studying fashion at college.
I like too (love too) mix vintage, high street and designer and have a particular soft spot towards vintage pieces.
Infact the inspo for this blog is the amazingly cute vintage find I was blessed with today.
Kimono's have been everywhere this summer and when I saw this red little dress ,I just new it'd be perfect worn open a'la kimono style.
I literally snapped the shopkeepers hand off for it, love at first glance and all that..............
So I got home and promptly styled it with a Topshop black vest top and another one of my newbie item's a Princess Promise leather skirt.
Perfect for a casual day shopping but also stylish enough to go for drinks after (you know , when the buyers remorse hits you like a slap in the face)
So stay tuned if you like what you see and you wanna see more, comments will be greatly valued

Love n pouts
